Joe is currently pursuing a career in energy and sustainability as a Finance Associate, at Seventus. Prior to joining the Erb Institute, Joe worked as an active duty submarine officer for seven years. He completed five deployments aboard the USS Kentucky as the Reactor Controls Officer and later, the Assistant Engineer. Additionally, Joe spent three years in Washington, D.C. providing shore side technical support to deployed submarines and training future submarine captains on employment of nuclear weapons. He holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan. In his free time, Joe enjoys playing volleyball and cooking.
