For 10+ years Wendy has identified and driven efficiencies and results through strong partnerships and thorough analysis. Currently at Nielson she is working with retailers, as well as manufacturer, on leveraging data and analytics to solve complex problems. Previously, Wendy worked at Target where she developed and implemented tools and the best methods through cross-functional teams to improve the profitability of stores with very high or low sales. Prior to Target, she scoped and started a team in India to support Target’s international and domestic supply-chain and initiated, defined and implemented Target’s supply-chain sustainability strategy, including participation in EPA’s Smartway program. Prior to Target, Wendy supported internal teams at Aveda on sustainability initiatives. While at Michigan, she interned with Nike (sustainability) and ExxonMobil (corporate finance) and co-authored a “sustainable agriculture tool-kit” for dairy farmers for Ben & Jerry’s. She came to Michigan with a consulting background from PricewaterhouseCoopers where she managed quantitative and qualitative survey work within the public and private sectors across a range of industries. Wendy graduated with University honors from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in mathematics/statistics and a degree in secondary education.
