Ruchi Misra graduated from the MBA/MS Program in May 2004 and is currently the Director of Mom Corps, a national professional talent acquisition and career development firm. As a WBENC certified staffing resource, Mom Corps places senior level, diverse professionals through our local offices as well as nationally through our corporate office. Previously, Rushi worked for business for Social Responsibility (BSR) in San Francisco, CA. With an academic focus on corporate social responsibility management, Ruchi is the Relationship Manager and Consultant for BSR’s CAT Team (Consumer Goods, Food & Agriculture, and Transportation). At Michigan, Ruchi interned for two summers at Altria Group’s Strategy for Social Responsibility Group in New York City. There she worked on company strategies relating to sustainable agriculture, human rights and ethical marketplace issues such as privacy and responsible marketing. Before her time at Michigan, Ruchi graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University in 1997 with a B.A. in Environmental Science and a Concentration in Economics. She then worked as a financial analyst in Salomon Smith Barney’s Equity Capital Markets Group in both the New York and Hong Kong offices. She also spent another two years as an Associate at Freeman & Co., a management consulting and M&A advisory firm in New York.
