Rebecca is a consultant for entrepreneurship programs/accelerators, consumer goods brands, academic institutions, and investor clients on sustainability and new product/service innovation. Previously, she has worked with the Natural Resources Defense Council on their Clean by Design initiative to reduce the environmental impacts stemming from fashion industry. At the School of Visual Arts (SVA), Rebecca taught a masters-level course in Life Cycle Assessment to aspiring design strategists. Rebecca has also managed innovation challenges for Luminary Labs, developed sustainability guidelines and projects for Adidas’s design department, and engaged on sustainability supply-chain initiatives as an intern with the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) in their partnership with Walmart. Before entering Erb, Rebecca was a product designer and leader of the non-profit eco-design organization o2-NYC, where her work was featured in media such as BusinessWeek, Forbes, The London Observer (Guardian UK), and The New York Times. Rebecca earned her BFA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2003.
