Mark comes to Michigan with two years of experience as a Peace Corps volunteer in Costa Rica, and an additional two years as a credit analyst at Citibank. Mark is especially interested in the circular economy, waste management and industrial ecology. Simply put, how can we create and consume products so that, at the end of their life cycle, we produce as limited a waste footprint as possible? Mark studied finance and Spanish at Texas A&M University and likes college football, cycling, chess and playing soccer (usually on the intramural “B” team, if there is no “C” team).
