Gregory Gamble

Associate Director of Development, School of Humanities & Sciences

Standford University

In May 2009, Greg became the Executive Director of the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy in Ojai, California. Greg is working to rapidly accelerate the pace of land protection in the Ojai Valley and recently secured the largest gift to OVLC in the organization’s history. He is also focusing on expanding the use of a relatively unique and underutilized land protection tool to save the Ventura River. Greg was previously Executive Director of the Desert Foothills Land Trust of Cave Creek, Arizona, where he secured a conservation easement over an historic ranch. For ten years prior to that Greg held positions with The Nature Conservancy in Colorado, California and Arizona. Greg attempts to find time to train for triathlons in between excursions with his wife, Darcy, and two small children Scarlett & Gates. He has been known to hunt for beers and fish for laughs with his fellow CEMP alums!
