Emily currently serves as a Director for Technology Practice, at The Beacon Group. Emily is interested in sustainable venture investing, innovation management and environmental risk analysis. Prior to attending the University of Michigan, Emily brokered options on the floor of the American Stock Exchange. Most recently, she used her four years of experience in finance to help launch the sustainable financial initiative at environmental non-profit, the Rainforest Alliance. Emily grew up in New Hampshire and attended Kenyon College where she worked on the staff of literary journal the Kenyon Review and received a BA in International Studies with concentrations in Political Science and Latin American Studies. In her free time Emily enjoys cross-country skiing, hiking, snowboarding, discovering new music and crossword puzzles.
