Caroline Lucas

Business Strategy Manager

Accenture

Caroline is passionate about market-based solutions to poverty and financial inclusion. After graduating with a degree in International Relations from Chapman University, she worked briefly for nonprofits in Washington, DC before joining the Peace Corps. During her two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Armenia, Caroline worked extensively with local women entrepreneurs in founding, funding and growing their local businesses, including co-leading a women’s handicraft and canning business Interested in learning more about entrepreneurship, she joined Signal, a marketing technology growth-stage startup in Chicago, as Marketing Manager for two years.

During her time at Erb, Caroline pursued her passions by working on projects at the intersection of business and social impact with organizations such as World Wildlife Fund (Master’s project); Industree Foundation, a women’s empowerment nonprofit in India (MAP); Ashoka Changemakers and Digital Data Divide (Emerging Markets Club consulting projects). The project of which she is most proud is cofounding the International Investment Fund, the first-ever international student-run fund, making equity investments in SMEs in India.
