Amy comes to UM with a software background but is ready to take the plunge and pursue her passions in both entrepreneurship and sustainability. By joining the Erb Institute, she hopes to gain insight into people’s beliefs and behaviors regarding sustainability and tailor business solutions to promote social responsibility and to increase awareness for the consumption of natural resources. Prior to enrolling at UM, Amy worked at a software startup for 6 years, taking on various roles that capitalized on her ability to come up with solutions that benefited multiple stakeholders with seemingly opposing requirements and her talent for breaking down communication barriers between people with varying areas of expertise. She earned a B.S. in Management from The Georgia Institute of Technology. When not at school or work, Amy coddles her two Yorkshire Terriers and turns her kitchen into a laboratory for cooking experiments.
