Allison Peters is a writer, editor, and artist from California living in Michigan. Winner of an Academy of American Poets Prize, Allison earned an honors BA in English and creative writing with a minor in film from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and has been awarded scholarships to the Bear River Writers’ Conference as well as residencies with the Grin City Collective and Crosshatch Center for Art & Ecology. She interviews poets and writers for the Michigan Quarterly Review, and her own poems have been published in The Collagist, Mixed Fruit, Birdfeast, Hobart, and elsewhere. She loves architecture, teaching, and making music.
