Daniel is interested in using finance as a tool to encourage sustainable initiatives. Prior to joining the ERB Institute he worked in financial services for Safra Asset Management, a subsidiary of a privately owned Brazilian bank, working closely with hedge funds focused on investing in emerging market companies and commodities based economies. Working with emerging economies has inspired him to transition to the developing field of clean tech investment. In his free time he enjoys traveling, skiing and motorcycle riding.
