The Erb Institute sat down with Erb Seminar speaker and BSR Manager Ouida Chichester to talk about the business case for human rights. Through her work with BSR, Ouida has worked with many companies to improve their human rights policies. In the video, she digs into the human rights violations many women face in the workplace on a daily basis and advises as to how companies big and small can best address human rights violations internally and throughout their supply chains.
“Having good human rights practices in place actually does help a business’s bottom line—it is good for business. There is the business case to be made, but I feel like we shouldn’t have to make the business case for a lot of these issues—that it just being the right thing should be enough.”
