Thomas Banks
Erb Fellows, Class of 2023
Thomas Banks (B.A. in Environment) is an Erb Institute Undergraduate Fellow focusing on the intersection of land use planning and law and clean energy in the U.S. The main focus of his research is the siting of renewable energy in rural communities, examining how the need for carbon-free energy can be balanced with the needs of the local community that hosts the energy installation. Other work includes developing a program to integrate sustainable business practices into Tier 1 and 2 suppliers with Erb project partner World Environment Center (WEC).
