Steve is interested in corporate sustainability strategy, cleantech entrepreneurship, and the opportunities for mutual reinforcement between these areas. Through leadership roles on Michigan’s Social Venture Fund, he led the evaluation and closing of investments in innovative socially- and environmentally-responsible startups. While at Michigan, he also advised Ford Motor Company and General Motors on sustainability strategy and most recently interned with McKinsey & Company in New York City, where he is returning to work full time. Prior to Erb, he built and managed technology at Goldman Sachs and the Times Square Alliance. Steve graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a dual degree in Computer Science and Philosophy. His hobbies include running, backpacking, traveling, and watching the Red Wings make the playoffs.
