Development, Communication, and Science Delivery Coordinator for Urban Field Stations

In her current role with the U.S. Forest Service, Sarah works closely with managers, practitioners, and stakeholders to advance the science of social-ecological systems and to co-develop and deliver scientific information and tools to help cities become more sustainable and resilient so as to improve the lives of all urban residents. In this capacity, Sarah specializes in communication and science delivery; network development and coordination; leadership, partnership, and capacity-building; and policymaker engagement.
Prior to this, Sarah has had experience working to advance knowledge and science delivery in both urban and rural western ecosystems and working in the fields of corporate social responsibility as well as human-wildlife conflict management. Sarah graduated with honors from Harvard University in 2002, and holds a B.A. in biological anthropology.
