Sam is an experienced energy development and finance professional. He currently leads market strategy and development for transmission-scale solar projects in North and South Carolina at Cypress Creek Renewables, overseeing over one gigawatt of successfully built solar projects and a multi-gigawatt pipeline. Prior to that, Sam helped build an energy efficiency financing business at Metrus Energy, based in San Francisco, CA. He developed and closed funding for several multi-million dollar building retrofit projects across the US. Sam currently lives in Boston, MA with his wife, two sons and two dogs.
