Nikole joined the Erb Institute to pursue ways to improve the sustainability of the products we use every day. She comes to the University of Michigan after a decade-long career in communications, working in media and managing internal and external communications for B2B companies, B2C companies, trade associations and higher education institutions. Her interest in the sustainability of consumer products started with managing the media relations launch of a biodegradable pen and pencil. Nikole has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She won two Emmys for her work as a TV news producer. In her free time, Nikole enjoys yoga, running, hiking, camping and traveling to new places.
