Nicholas Poggioli is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise, jointly managed by the Ross School of Business and the School for Environment and Sustainability. Dr. Poggioli studies corporate environmental strategy and technology, specifically how remote sensing technology like satellites and drones are changing corporate sustainability strategy. Nicholas earned his PhD from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, where he studied under Prof. Alfred A. Marcus. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from the University of California, Irvine. Prior to academia, he worked for the Orange County Business Council and served in the United States Peace Corps, AmeriCorps VISTA, and the National Park Service.
