Martha currently serves as a Principal at the Rocky Mountain Institute. She is originally from El Paso, Texas, with professional experiences as varied as working as a green construction intern for Mike Reynolds, to field organizing in northern New Mexico, to working as a financial analyst for Goldman Sachs. Prior to Ross Martha worked for Collaborative Green and the Alliance for Climate Protection in Taos, NM. During her time at Erb she had earned several awards and honors including being part of the winning team in the Innovation in Social Entrepreneurship Case Competition as well as being selected as a Wyss Conservation Scholar. She hold a B.A. in International Relations with a focus on economics from Stanford University.
