Dr. Maria Roszkowska-Menkes is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Theory at SGH Warsaw School of Economics, Poland. Her research has been evolving around sustainability disclosure and communications. More specifically, while investigating the motivations, determinants and consequences of sustainability reporting, she seeks to answer whether increased corporate transparency translates into enhanced sustainability performance. 

Dr. Roszkowska-Menkes has very broad teaching experience at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive level. She is a secretary at SGH Postgraduate Studies in Public Relations and Strategic Communications in Companies, where she also teaches Corporate Social Responsibility course. As an assistant lecturer she co-instructs Contemporary Issues in Strategic Management course at two prestigious Executive MBA programs – CEMBA and MBA-SGH.

Dr. Roszkowska-Menkes is a Kosciuszko Foundation Fellow (2021/2022), CEEMAN’s International Management Teachers Academy Alumni (2016) and a recipient of SGH Rector’s Award for Teaching Excellency (2019). As a member of SGH’s CSR Committee, she is involved in the development and implementation of CSR strategy at her university. Prior joining SGH, she worked as a promotion coordinator in Responsible Business Forum – the largest Polish NGO providing in-depth focus on the CSR concept.
