Marc is working to address the issues of climate change and energy poverty through the promotion of renewable energy in Asia. He is currently the Project Manager of Development at Boralax. Marc was previously settled in Sydney, where he was the Resource Management Practice Leader for Closed Loop Environmental Solutions, an Australian firm specializing in helping clients minimize the amount of material they send to landfill. Prior to Closed Loop, Marc lead the establishment of Samsung C&T Corporation’s renewable energy investment portfolio in Australia, a role he took after working for Samsung’s Global Strategy Group in Seoul. At the University of Michigan, Marc focused on finance in the context of renewable energy. Prior to Michigan, he worked in Shanghai, China for three years where he transformed Mercer HR Consulting’s salary survey processing team into a recognized centre of excellence within the company. Marc also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, speaks French, Mandarin, and basic Australian, and enjoys showing his back to as many people as possible in triathlons around the world.
