Makely is interested in corporate sustainability strategy, particularly product life cycle and supply chain sustainability. Before coming to UM, Makely worked in renewable energy policy and greenhouse gas management. While at Erb, she interned in the Corporate Environmental Programs office at General Electric and then at A.T. Kearney on a growth strategy project for a natural resources client. She currently works in innovation and strategy for operations and logistics at Nike. Makely holds a BA in Economics and Environmental Policy from Middlebury College.
