Lexie is driven by a deep desire to seek nuanced understanding of complex issues and to create systemic change that reduces or prevents suffering in the world. She became an Erb student, because she believes the best way to accomplish this aspiration is by leveraging the role of business to catalyze sustainability and social equity. Lexie plans to pursue a career focused on transforming the way society uses natural resources and facilitating the transition to a closed-loop circular economy. Before graduate school, she worked at a business-focused environmental non-profit organization in Seattle. There she consulted with dozens of companies, ranging from start-ups to multinationals, about their corporate social responsibility challenges and equipped them with practical strategies, resources and referrals to achieve their goals.
