Daniel McGill

MBA/MS Candidate

Erb Institute

Daniel is excited to harness the power and ingenuity of business for land conservation, environmental justice, and climate change mitigation. Topics of particular interest are regenerative agriculture, circular economies, and renewable energy and how to best generate and direct capital to innovative projects in these spaces. Previous to graduate school, Daniel worked as a field biologist, studying wildfires in the Pacific Northwest and primates in Costa Rica, and as a high school science teacher. In his free time, he enjoys all outdoor recreational pursuits: climbing, (mountain) biking, backpacking, skiing, gardening, and playing with his wild, wolf-like dog, Lupin.
