Angela Flood is the director of business and economic development for Ann Arbor SPARK. Her focus is on the American Center for Mobility, the premier Michigan destination for connected and autonomous vehicle testing and validation. ACM is a 500-acre living laboratory for the development of mobility solutions and Michigan’s platform to bring together the mobility industry. In her role she is developing the Technology Park Campus, working on real estate deal structure, developing ACM’s mobility incubator and is responsible for sales and awareness outreach for the ACM campus.

Angela has 20 years of professional experience spanning the industrial and economic development worlds. Her past experience has been concentrated in international business strategy, automotive, power generation, new mobility solution development, entrepreneurship, start-up scouting and mentoring, market research, real estate development and urban planning. Angela co-founded and ran an automotive software company, CSEG and has worked for Cummins Inc. and Faurecia Clean Mobility. She has led international teams in the functions of marketing and purchasing.

Angela earned her MBA/MS through the Erb Institute for Global Sustainability at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and the School for Sustainability and the Environment at the University of Michigan. She is also an alumna of Saint Louis University (School of Public Service) and the University of Illinois (School of Political Science). Angela holds both the AICP and LEED Green Associate designations and is a licensed REALTOR in the State of Michigan as well as a Master Gardener and Master Rain Gardener.

When not at work, you can find her rowing crew on the Huron River, working in her garden, painting and golfing. Angela is passionate about mentoring start-ups, helping other women in business and advancing the arts.
