Michael is interested in renewable technologies, environmental markets, and policy issues. Prior to joining the Erb Institute, Michael was an independent consultant within the geothermal industry. He also spent five years at JPMorgan Chase, with a focus on energy and alternative energy companies in its Proprietary Equities group and its Credit Portfolio group. He received a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and is a CFA charterholder. He has had two exciting internships during his summers, one with Dow Chemical in its Ventures & Business Development group and one with Google in its Renewable Energy Investments group. In his free time, Michael is an avid skier, aspiring poker champion, sports fan, and enjoys traveling.
