James Lloyd
Director of Technical Marketing
Energy Integrated Solutions
Jamie manages energy services projects in the United States, Asia, and Latin America for a variety of facility types including manufacturing, pharmaceutical, data center, and office; achieved savings between 20-35% of system energy costs as the Director of Technical Marketing at Energy Integrated Solutions. He also spent three years with the Peace Corps working at Hovsgol National Park in Mongolia on biological research, educational outreach, and environmental protection initiatives. Jamie set up a solar power station to run the park’s computers as the village was without electric power. Realizing that basic human needs – social and economic well being – had to be met before education and environmental protection were considered, Jamie founded the first official trekking guide training program with the park staff and trained over fifty local residents to work as guides. He was honored by the Mongolian Ministry of Nature for this accomplishment. He later designed and implemented Peace Corps Mongolia’s environmental training program for new volunteers. Prior to Hovsgol, Jamie taught a variety of topics at the Paideia School in Atlanta, GA, including literature, creative writing, history, geography, and evolutionary biology.
Jamie received a Masters of Science in Environmental Resource Policy from the School of Natural Resources and Environment and a Masters of Business Administration with concentrations in Strategy and Organizational Behavior from the University of Michigan Business School. He also holds a Bachelor or Arts degree from Emory University. He is originally from New York and has a wife, Caroline, and a young son, Sam.
