Arynne is passionate about sustainability and equity in the food system. At the University of Michigan she is pursuing a B.S. in biology and environmental sciences with a special interest in food waste. She is developing an Honors thesis on composting behavior in the residence halls, and hopes to help the University achieve their 2025 waste reduction goals. Beyond college, she wants to support the creation of a more equitable and efficient food system that provides food to those who need it while minimizing food waste. In her free time, she loves to take her dog for runs, practice yoga, experiment with new vegan recipes, and spend time with friends and family.
