Katie is interested by the ability to use investing as a means for incentivizing companies to be more environmentally-sustainable and socially-just. She is focusing on Finance and Strategy at U-M, and she looks specifically at how corporations can use environmental sustainability strategies to become more financially sustainable. Before joining the Erb Institute, Katie worked as a consultant for a U-M engineering researcher studying the drinking water industry in Michigan. Much of her free time is spent either playing or watching soccer… she watched every single game of the 2019 Women’s World Cup.
