Emily Cho

Erb Fellows, Class of 2021

Major: Industrial and Operations Engineering
Minor: Sustainability

Emily is a senior in the Erb Undergraduate Fellows program from Saginaw, Michigan. She is studying Industrial and Operations Engineering with a Minor in Sustainability, and hopes to merge the two by working toward the development of sustainable supply chains. At the University of Michigan, she is a member of BLUElab India Project, a team that works in rural Gujarat to develop low-smoke stoves for women living below the poverty line. Her interest in sustainable supply chains formed while interning at LLamasoft in Ann Arbor, where her team developed tools to facilitate sustainability optimization and planning across supply chain networks. Emily’s favorite place is her family cabin in western Michigan, where she enjoys running, water sports, and spending time outdoors.
