The Basics
As an Erb MBA/MS student, you will pay 3 semesters of tuition to Rackham, and 3 semesters to Ross, or 3 semesters to Ross and 2 semesters to Rackham, if you choose to complete Erb in 2 ½ years. (The Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies encompasses 181 programs at the University of Michigan; Rackham is the parent school to SEAS.)
As an Erb student, you will pay tuition to the school you are currently enrolled in. For example, if you are starting at SEAS, you will pay tuition to Rackham for both of your first terms. If you are starting at Ross, you will pay tuition to Ross for both terms. If you have questions about tuition, please contact Melissa Coveney, Student Affairs Program Manager.
To join the Erb Institute as a dual-degree graduate student, you must gain admissions to both the Ross School of Business and the School for Environment and Sustainability.

Internship Funding
If you're an MBA/MS student pursuing an internship with a mission-aligned organization, you may be able to access Erb funding to bridge the gap. This support is designed for roles that offer meaningful sustainability experience but may come with lower compensation than typical corporate internships.
