Jeannine Coelho

Prior to Erb, Jeannine worked in environmental consulting for 5 years. During this time, she worked primarily with large-scale corporate clients in the manufacturing and power industry, conducting risk assessments under different climate scenarios, ESG target-setting, and creating decarbonization strategies. Her experience and work in Pakistan, one of the most climate-vulnerable countries in the world, inspired her to focus on financing and equitable energy transition.

At UofM, Jeannine is VP of Finance and Sponsorships with the Energy Club at Ross, connecting the broader energy community with students interested in the energy space. Jeannine also uses her international student experience in her role of Director of International Students with the Erb Student Advisory Board, and is a Research Assistant with the Michigan Business Sustainability Roundtable (MBSR), a pre-competitive group of sustainability leaders in Michigan. Jeannine serves as a student member of the President's Advisory Committee on Labour Standards and Human Rights (PACLSHR).

Outside of school, Jeannine is an avid foodie, nature lover, and a mom to two pups. You can find her at the local farmers' market, at home cooking up a dish, or soaking up the sun.
