Ellie Simon

Ellie Simon '29 is passionate about sustainability strategy and the energy transition. Prior to joining Erb, she spent the last five years living in Detroit and working on solar energy development for DTE Energy. As a project manager and most recently as Manager of Solar Development, Ellie led procurement, permitting, engineering, and capital build-ups, other development tasks for solar projects all around the state of Michigan. Ellie holds a BS in Earth and Environmental Science and International Studies from the University of Michigan. In her free time she enjoys yoga, bike rides, baking, and board games!
