Dan Guimaraes

Dan Guimaraes '29 is a dual degree MBA/MS student at the Erb Institute, focused on the profitability and scalability of regenerative agriculture.

After earning a BA in Mathematical Economics, Dan began his career conducting quantitative research on the profitability of carbon trading for regenerative farming models. He then spent six years in international development—designing proposals for projects in economic growth, public financial management, and monitoring and evaluation, and eventually managing multimillion-dollar USAID programs in Liberia and Haiti.

At Erb, Dan is exploring career interests spanning venture capital, impact investing, and insurance products within the regenerative ag space. He is an active member of the Food, Beverage, and Agriculture Club and Risky Business, the MBA student band. In his free time, Dan loves cooking, playing the drums, and going on hikes with his enormous dog.
