Caitlin Shamberg

Caitlin manages marketing and communications initiatives for the Institute, shaping how Erb’s stories are told and strengthening engagement across our community of sustainability leaders. She moved to Ann Arbor from Los Angeles in 2026, bringing a background in nonprofit communications, content strategy, and journalism. 

She holds an MA in Journalism from NYU and began her career in public media. Prior to Erb, she led editorial and digital content strategy at organizations including Getty, KCRW, and Galerie, where she developed audience-focused storytelling and brand-driven content initiatives. She loves to be outdoors and is open to any and all suggestions for surviving the Michigan winter.
