Marie Gallagher
Marie Gallagher is a Junior in the Erb Undergraduate Fellows program, working towards a degree in the Program in the Environment with a focus on policy and sustainable systems. She believes that social responsibility being the center of the business sector; is a necessary driver for progress, equity, and change in the wake of the climate crisis we are experiencing. She hopes to focus on the complex ecological and social impacts of centering justice throughout necessary sustainable development initiatives. Her interest on energy systems and policy evolved throughout her business support work within Consumers Energy, she also works with Students for Clean Energy, Climate Action Movement, and Michigan Undergraduate Ecological Research Coalition on campus. In her free time she enjoys backpacking old growth forests, and making music, dinners, or art with friends and family.
