Malcolm is interested in the intersection of business and social impact, and is passionate about helping corporate, municipal, and community stakeholders adapt to the most pressing social and environmental issues. Prior to joining the Erb Community, Malcolm spent over 5 years working for various nonprofit organizations in Alabama. He spent two years as an AmeriCorps member providing free tax preparation and financial literacy training for low-income families throughout the state, and also worked as a Development Specialist for Teach For America, where he managed the fundraising and marketing operations for the Alabama region. He then spent over two years as a Development Consultant, helping smaller nonprofits develop and implement effective fundraising and marketing strategies in their start-up phases.
