John currently serves ans a Senior Partner, for Executive Search, at the Lucas Group. John became interested in environmental stewardship while volunteering for the Surfrider Foundation to clean the beaches near his home in Southern California. His volunteer work helped him develop sensitivity to the environmental impacts of the industries in which he has worked, especially during the last three years before coming to University of Michigan when he worked in the supply chain for an oil and gas equipment manufacturer. John intends to uses his knowledge of environmental science, policy, and business to create opportunities to conserve natural resources rather than promote their accelerated consumption in his future career path. When not working, John recharges his batteries by visiting lakes, rivers, and oceans.
