Business Development, Senior Manager - V2X
Qcells North America
John ventured to the Midwest from California to join the Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise and lead a more fulfilling career focused on business and technology that positively impact stakeholders beyond the bottom line. John spent his first summer in the dual MBA/MS program interning with the Environmental Defense Fund in Bentonville, Arkansas developing recommendations for Wal-Mart to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its corporate value chain. In the Summer of 2015, John returned to San Francisco to intern at technology start-up, Stem, Inc., and provide recommendations to increase sales and adoption of their behind-the-meter battery storage solutions. While John remains interested in a broad spectrum of corporate sustainability topics, John continued his post-graduate career in renewables and distributed energy resources. In 2016, John headed to the Seattle, Washington to lead customer strategy and battery storage product development at Puget Sound Energy. In 2022, John moved to Qcells North America, to lead strategy and product development for Vehicle-to-Everything (“V2X”) technology. John enjoys spending his spare time in the company of friends, hiking and being outdoors, or planning his next domestic/international travel and scuba-diving adventure.
