Jackson Riegler

Jackson is passionate about using the wide capabilities of business to drive positive change in the environment, specifically the Great Lakes. At the University of Michigan, he is pursuing an Economics BA with a minor in Sustainability and Ross. He served as a member of Cohort VII in optiMize for his company, Oshki, which repurposes plastic waste from the Great Lakes and other US waterways into sustainable clothing. He now serves as a mentor in optiMize and startUM, helping students build socially conscious companies and non-profits of their own and is looking forward to bringing sustainability to the sectors that need it most throughout his career.
