Emily is passionate about responsible business strategies and is interested in sustainable food systems and global supply chains. Prior to Erb, she worked at an international development nonprofit, which provided technical and financial assistance to grassroots projects worldwide, with a focus on women’s empowerment and health. Originally from Connecticut, Emily graduated with a B.A from Brown University, with a dual concentration in Environmental Studies and Community Health. Through the Erb Institute, Emily aims to take a deeper dive into agricultural supply chains to reduce environmental and social externalities while simultaneously empowering local growers and communities.
