I came to graduate school after 5 years in the nonprofit sector because I was excited to explore the connection between for-profit business and positive social impact. Now that I am here I am focused on two specific questions: 1.) How can product planning and innovation create value for both companies and society? 2.) How can capital investment, especially in early stage companies, foster new opportunities and solve key problems.
I am a Michigan native and a resident of Detroit. I love my home state and I am motivated to find ways to increase economic activity while also protecting the one-of-a-kind ecosystem’s we have in the Great Lakes. Being a part of the Erb community has challenged me to think strategically and creatively, not to mention given me a great community of friends.
