Dan is currently a medical student at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. Prior to medical school, Dan was a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Canadian Sustainability | Enterprise Risk Practice and led the firm’s sustainability services within the Greater Toronto Area. With more than ten years of business and technology consulting experience, Dan advised public, private, and nonprofit clients on a wide range of environment, health and social responsibility topics, e.g., sustainability strategy, safety analytics, environmental risks and liabilities, corporate responsibility reporting and assurance, EHS management systems, and carbon accounting. He co-authored the book, Hybrid Organizations: New Business Models for Environmental Leadership, and holds an MBA and a MS in Natural Resources from the University of Michigan’s Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise as well as a Mechanical Engineering degree from McGill University.
