Sam Sibley (Stevenson)

Product Lead, Mobile

Tala

Class of 2014

Sam is currently the Mobile Product Lead, at Tala. Prior to Erb, Sam worked within the global carbon markets inspired by the potential of markets to drive scalable emission reductions. At DNV, Sam implemented a new business segment in forest carbon, which led to projects in British Columbia, Guyana, and Kenya. For the Kenya REDD project, Sam partnered with a client to develop a 250,000 Ha forest conservation project in Kenya that generates approximately $5-10MM in revenue per year (~1 million MTCO2e emission reductions per year). This project is considered the most successful example of a market driven forest conservation project in the world. At EcoSecurities (now J.P. Morgan), Sam devised positioning strategies and renewable energy investment portfolios for large industry and utility clients.

Sam earned a B.A. in Political Science from Middlebury College in Vermont. Sam is fluent in Japanese, has climbed and surfed around the world, and loves cooking up a traditional clambake.
