Katy is interested in public spaces and how they affect community and individual wellbeing. She is also interested in cross-sector partnerships and is the student coordinator of the Business School’s Board Fellowship Program. Katy conducted a Domestic Corps summer internship at Focus: HOPE where she developed recommendations to improve the timeliness and accuracy of volunteer placement and initiated an ongoing improvement process for the volunteer department. Prior to returning to school, Katy was a consultant with the Public Sector Group of American Management Systems where she most recently worked with the Human Resources Administration of New York City to implement Medicaid policy and program changes. Katy graduated from Brown University in 1999 with an A.B. in Human Biology.
