Katherine Cunningham

Katherine is passionate about solving climate change and how the private sector can advance climate action, with a particular focus on sustainable finance and climate risk management. To explore these interests, she is a member of the University of Michigan Social Venture Fund and is currently working on a climate risk project with Zurich Insurance for her SEAS master’s project. Prior to joining the Erb Institute, Katherine worked at the consulting firm Training Resources Group, Inc. in Arlington, VA as a communications and knowledge management consultant for the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Global Climate Change Office. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs, including minors in Arabic and music, from The George Washington University. In her free time she enjoys playing violin, square dancing, hiking, and biking.
