Jordan is a second year MBA/MS candidate at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and School of Natural Resources and Environment. He is focusing on leveraging computer-based approaches, including GIS, remote sensing and simulation modeling, to address business, environmental and social issues. Jordan spent his last summer as an intern at Uber, where he developed a strategy for the company to use geotagged social media data as a demand indicator. Prior to the University of Michigan, he was an Analyst at Angeleno Group, a dedicated energy venture capital firm. There, he was responsible for conducting due diligence, originating deals and implementing business development initiatives for the firm’s active portfolio companies. Previously, Jordan attended UCLA where he earned a BS in Neuroscience and held various research and instructional positions. He also conducted research at Grand Valley State University’s Annis Water Resources Institute.
