About the Opportunity
It’s an exciting time to work with the NBCU Sustainability team! The team works on a myriad of sustainability implementation projects across the enterprise as part of our roadmap to becoming carbon-neutral by 2035. The team is also responsible for emissions reporting, employee engagement, long-range sustainability planning, forecasting and project tracking, and sustainability data analysis. Projects for the intern include developing year-over-year dashboards, supporting system enhancements, working with internal partners on data collection, and researching carbon accounting methodologies and industry best practices.
Candidate Profile
- Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (September 2025 through April 2026). December 2025 graduates are not eligible for our 2025-2026 Academic Year Internship Program.
- Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
- Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be available to work 16-24 hours per week from September 15, 2025 – April 17, 2026.
- Must be working from a location within a U.S. state during all hours worked.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly rate for undergraduate student interns is $17.50.
The hourly rate for graduate student interns is $20.00.
