Responsibilities

As a Manager, Supplier Sustainability and Clean Energy Programs for Deere & Company located in Moline, IL, you will….

  • Develop market solutions and supplier support program to meet Deere’s 2030 Leap Ambitions for Operations and Supplier GHG (Greenhouse Gas) emissions
  • Drive key improvements to supplier GHG metrics, and develop glide path and metrics for product circularity (supplier materials) targets
  • Support and execute some energy/clean energy procurement and energy management initiatives globally

Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in energy, engineering, business, supply management, or other program management
  • Planning and project management
  • Strong verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong MS Office suite skills including presentation of data
  • Technical aptitude in the areas of energy business or engineering
  • Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or Supply Management or equivalent degree

Preferred

  • Data management and analytics, with emphasis on ability to communicate key messages
  • Energy industry experience (development, operations, procurement, markets and regulatory)
  • Experience in multiple company functional areas (e.g. supply management, product or manufacturing engineering, EHS, accounting and finance)
  • Knowledge of GHG principles, GHG accounting protocol, energy and GHG management
  • Knowledge of environmental and social sustainability topics and metrics
  • Diverse supply management experience including Direct, Indirect Materials & Services, and Logistics
  • Product or Manufacturing Engineering experience
  • Corporate goal development, measurement, and achievement
