Leveraging Millenial and Gen Z Expectations for CPR

Thursday, August 12, 5:00-6:15pmEDT

Manu Meel, CEO of BridgeUSA

Many companies are stepping forward on social issues because their employees—or potential employees—are pushing them to. At the same time, firms are wrestling with internal conflicts caused by deepening political polarization, and tensions between younger and older generations around capitalism, democracy and the role of business. How can leaders navigate this minefield effectively? Leaders must contend with several critical questions:

  • What do Millenials and Gen Z expect of companies around CPR (corporate political responsibility)? Where do they differ and where is there convergence?
  • How are these evolving expectations impacting business’ relationships, risks and results, as these generations choose where to work, where to invest, where to shop?
  • What role could business play in engaging polarization constructively, and supporting a renewal of American democracy?
